Being a dance educator and mentor holds the greatest gift, one that I cherish deeply. I pride myself at being good at it! For me, it's not about the accumulation of trophies or accolades, but rather about nurturing the growth and development of each and every student. Every day, I am privileged to witness the transformation of young dancers as they discover their potential, overcome obstacles, and achieve their goals. As a mentor, I take immense pride in guiding dancers on their journey, providing them with the tools, encouragement, and support they need to thrive both inside and outside the studio. It's about instilling confidence, fostering creativity, and nurturing a love for dance that will last a lifetime. Seeing dancers grow not only as dancers but also as individuals is the most rewarding aspect of my role as a teacher. It's a responsibility I hold dear, and one that I approach with passion, dedication, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of all the dancers I am blessed to part of their lives. I have the pleasure of teaching dancers from all corners of the DFW area, and my philosophy will always remain rooted in love and appreciation for each and every dancer. We all share something truly special in common, and it's this shared passion for dance that unites us. For me, it's not just about teaching dance steps; it's about fostering a sense of community and belonging. In group settings and in private lessons my classes will always be emphasized on collaboration over competition. I am a firm believer in the idea that dancers can learn from more than one teacher, myself included.
