About Private Lessons

Private Lessons are scheduled above as a first come first serve basis. If you don't see any availability, please do not hesitate to reach out. I will always do my best to accommodate!  During the Summer months, I will be scheduling Monday - Thursday.

All Private Lessons must fill out an information Google Document BEFORE their lesson. No exceptions.

Have your dancer come prepared and ready to WORK!

Locations:

Locations: Dance Integrity (Highland Village) & Rodiguez Martial Arts (Highland Village)

Please Note: I rely on external businesses for our rental space and sometimes, changes in availability or unforeseen circumstances may necessitate location changes for private lessons.

*I understand totally that these changes can be inconvenient, and for that, I sincerely apologize.

In the event of any last-minute changes, please rest assured that I will make every effort to inform you promptly and minimize any inconvenience caused.

*My private lesson day is scheduled with back-to-back lessons, which means that it may be challenging for me to respond promptly if you send a message the day of or a few minutes before your scheduled lesson.

Additionally, my phone is on "do not disturb" mode while teaching, so there is a possibility that I may not receive your message immediately. Therefore, I encourage you to reach out to me at least 24 hours before your scheduled private lesson if you have any uncertainties regarding the location. I will make it a priority to provide you with any necessary updates or confirmations as soon as possible.

Thank you for your understanding in advance.

Being someone who values organization, I've found Calendly to be an absolute game-changer when it comes to managing private lessons. To streamline the process, all parents and dancers are kindly requested to book their private lessons through Calendly. You can easily find the booking link on my website at vibedancecompanytx.com. The Calendly link provides the convenience of effortlessly booking either a 30-minute or 60-minute private session. I highly recommend checking the availability for the entire month and scheduling accordingly. My schedule tends to fill up quickly, so booking in advance ensures your spot. Please note that all solos choreographed by me will have first priority for booking, with a 24-hour window before opening up to all. Thank you for your understanding in advance. If you don't see any available slots during the week you prefer, feel free to send me a text or email, and I'll do my best to accommodate you. Alternatively, I can add you to a waiting list for the weekend in case of any cancellations.

canceling Private Lessons

Flexibility is key when it comes to managing schedules, as unexpected events can sometimes arise. In order to effectively accommodate all private lessons, I kindly ask for adherence to my Private Lesson cancellation policy.

Cancellation Notice: Please remember that my private lesson schedule is meticulously arranged with consecutive sessions. Should you need to reschedule or cancel a lesson, please refer to your booking confirmation email for guidance. I kindly request a 24-hour advance notice for any cancellations or time adjustments. Late Cancellations: Cancellations made within the 24-hour window enable me to offer the time slot to another individual. Should a private lesson be canceled on the same day or after the 24-hour period, a fee of $25 per 30 minutes will apply. This fee compensates for the reserved time and the prepaid rental fee for the space. No-shows: Failure to attend your scheduled appointment without prior notification will result in the $25 per 30 minute fee. Repeated instances of no-shows may necessitate prepayment for future services or potentially impact the ability to schedule future appointments. Late Arrivals: I understand that unforeseen delays can occur. However, dancers arriving more than 15 minutes late will be asked to reschedule. This ensures that we can deliver the highest quality service to your dancer. Exceptions: I acknowledge that emergencies and special circumstances can arise unexpectedly. Exceptions to our policy are evaluated on a case-by-case basis, subject to my discretion. Refunds: Cancellation fees and deposits are non-refundable unless I myself have to cancel due to an emergency, in which case, prepaid fees will be refunded. Your understanding and cooperation are greatly appreciated. Thank you.

a note from ms. jess

Being a dance educator and mentor holds the greatest gift, one that I cherish deeply. I pride myself at being good at it! For me, it's not about the accumulation of trophies or accolades, but rather about nurturing the growth and development of each and every student. Every day, I am privileged to witness the transformation of young dancers as they discover their potential, overcome obstacles, and achieve their goals. As a mentor, I take immense pride in guiding dancers on their journey, providing them with the tools, encouragement, and support they need to thrive both inside and outside the studio. It's about instilling confidence, fostering creativity, and nurturing a love for dance that will last a lifetime. Seeing dancers grow not only as dancers but also as individuals is the most rewarding aspect of my role as a teacher. It's a responsibility I hold dear, and one that I approach with passion, dedication, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of all the dancers I am blessed to part of their lives. I have the pleasure of teaching dancers from all corners of the DFW area, and my philosophy will always remain rooted in love and appreciation for each and every dancer. We all share something truly special in common, and it's this shared passion for dance that unites us. For me, it's not just about teaching dance steps; it's about fostering a sense of community and belonging. I believe in bringing dancers together with the mentality that we are stronger when we support and uplift one another. We are all inspired by each other's unique talents and journeys, and it's this camaraderie that drives us forward. In group settings and in private lessons my classes will always be emphasized on collaboration over competition. It's not about outshining each other; it's about celebrating each other's successes and growth. By embracing this philosophy, we create an environment where every dancer feels valued, respected, and encouraged to shine in their own way. I am a firm believer in the idea that dancers can learn from more than one teacher, myself included. I believe that exposure to different teaching styles and perspectives only makes us more versatile performers. It's about embracing diversity and continually seeking to expand our knowledge and skills as dancers. This will always be my philosophy as a dance teacher: to nurture a community where love, support, and inspiration reign supreme. Together, we can achieve greatness and create something truly beautiful on and off the dance floor.
